I use to be able to play games like Diablo 3, Deadspace, Fallout 3, etc. all on high settings or there abouts but lately my laptop just seems to be dying on it's arse. At the moment it can't even handle Deadspace at a res of 800x600, low settings & windowed, it's running at just under 90 degrees at 6fps, earlier it hit 99 degrees at a higher setting.

Here are the specs:

CPU and Memory:
Intel Core i3 dual core 330M.
2.13GHz processor speed.
4GB DDR3 RAM memory.

Display features:
Resolution 1366 x 768 pixels.

Graphics:
NVIDIA GeForce GT 325M graphics card with 1GB memory.

Any ideas what I can do to resolve the problem, is it with cracking it open? I bought it early 2011 so it is now out of warranty anyway.

Cheers,

Flare

Sounds like you need to give your laptop a good clean, most likely dust has coated the heat sink and fan assembly, you may have to open it up and remove it all.

While your at it, you may as well repaste the GPU and CPU with a good thermal paste (after cleaning off the old) this will work wonders.
