OK so my laptop is an MSI GE60 0ND

It has the Killer E2200 Card in it

Has the latest drivers but on my 100MB Connection im getting around 40MB

On another laptop i get the 105MB speeds (wired on both)

Any ideas?

Temporarily disable any anti-virus and firewall software and see if that changes anything.

If it was a desktop and a discrete card I'd suggest binning the Killer completely, but with a laptop you're stuck with it.

P.S. If you mean Megabits then it's Mb (or Mbit) not MB (which refers to Megabytes).

Yeah sorry its Mb

Disabled all AV / FW and still the same

the Killer Network manager says the card is running in 1000Mb

so does windows network status

i really am stumped

Same speed when you transfer across LAN?
Did you install the software boat? Sometimes it comes with QoS features.

I have an SSD and a 7200rpm HHD so i dont think its bottlenecking

Im not sure about the LAN as its only ps3 and cbox wired to it

The other laptop in the house when wired to the same ethernet cable im using got full speed
