I recently recieved a gift from my girlfriend who went to Hong Kong. She bought me a TwinFrozr Gaming Geforce GTX 760 4GB OC Graphics card. At the time, I did not have a computer to install the newly acquired hardware. I then decided to build a new PC. I then placed an order from overclockers on April 5th. Order number OC1791893. Firstly a very big thank you, All the products were excellent and i haven't had a problem. The first I built the system and everything was fine. Benchmarking and stress tests were fine. I went ahead and installed games and all the games were fine with the systems. After installing Battlefield 3, the monitor went black but i can still hear the game through my headset. When i did a soft reboot of my pc there was no signal from the graphic card and no image on my monitor. I re plugged into my monitor via the PC via motherboard on board graphics. I checked the device manager and the graphics card is not in the display adapter. I checked the PCI slot on the bios and it says its empty. Online forums said there might be a fault with the hardware and i should refer to the to the manufacturer. MSI website gave a list of retailers or re sellers for repairs or replacement. Overclockers was on the list. Knowing of the great customer service and being a very happy customer of Overclockers, I was wondering if there was any advice on how to fix my problems with the graphics cards or get in touch with msi in regards to my warranty. I have been having problems locating some one with msi to get in touch with as the card was bought in Hong Kong. :(

any help will be much appreciated :)

Hi and welcome to the forums. :)

Unfortunately this is the price you pay for buying abroad. Your only option is to go directly through MSI and if they don't want to know because you got it in a different country you are pretty much screwed.

Raise an RMA with OCUK if the card was bought from them they will honour that.

Reading the OP is a wonderful skill.

OP, I suspect you may have lucked out on this one. Have you tried any faultfinding? Different PCI-E slots, different power cables, remove the card, zap the drivers, then reinstall from fresh. It could be a hardware fault, but it might just be a driver issue or similar.

If not, then if you're really lucky OCUK may be able to put you onto MSi to get it RMA'd? I don't know if they have worldwide warranties or not...

I have tried different power cables, different PCI-E slots and re-installing the drivers after removing the card from my PC. I would test the graphics card on another machine, but I don't have another desktop for me to test on. MSI website says i should go to where I got the card, but it was a gift and was bought in Hong Kong. Hopefully a query sent from my customer account on OCUK will help me find the best way to get in touch with MSI. Shame though, the first few days with the card has been great.
