MSI GT725 Replace Dvd Drive

I am looking at replaceing my dvd drive in my laptop as it`s dead will not read anything now been playing up for ages now it`s gone so was looking at buying a new one but not shure which fill fit i know its sata so will any laptop sata dvd drive fit in the laptop ?

It should just be a matter of buying any sata notebook drive and swapping the bezel and any mounting brackets over.

Good stuff. I hope it's a new one and not a refurb Refurb DVD drives are just pulls in my experience, and I bet rarely tested

I hope its a new one to didnt go for cheapest one went with one with good rep and did say new in the description but even then thats not always garunteed so will just have to wait and see and thanks again for the pointer
