Hi guys

Got a MSI GTX 1080 Ti Seahawk today.

Before I had the MSI GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X (fan cooled). When the Gaming X version, I would set the Core Clock MHz to +150 and test it on 3D mark. The bigger the overclock, the better the score but obviously too much overclock and it would crash.

With the Seahawk, I've added +175 MHz to the core clock, but the score is worse than the default clock +0

Its really odd.

No matter how much I alter the core clock up or down, the average core clock on the MSI afterburner app stays around 1920mhz.

Am I doing something wrong?

I've had similar issues with the 1070 SeaHawk X -- running anything other than 3D Mark is fine, but for some reason 3D Mark often decides it's going to run at the default clock (and also tells me to turn off G-Sync despite not having a G-Sync monitor). Unigine Heaven, other GPU stress tests, and games will run at the altered settings with no issue, but for whatever reason 3D Mark can take 4 or 5 attempts to get it to play ball.
