hey guys earlier on i purchased this graphics card for..

Sub-Total: 391.66
Shipping: 8.25
VAT: 79.99
Total: 479.9

it was the last one in stock and now they have one more left all of a sudden and now the price is

£469.99 inc VAT
£391.66 ex VAT

can they lower prices just like that? i do not understand why i could not purchase this card for the price it is now, its too late now anyway but i am just curious why all of a sudden they have another card in stock and they have reduced the price again by 10 pounds.

Not sure if they refund you the difference if you've literally bought it the same day, probably worth asking OcUK CS

So, they had it on sale for £391.66 ex VAT and they've now reduced the price to £391.66 ex VAT?
Am I reading that right?

guys i sound really really wierd and tight with my money at the moment. i apologies, i guess i did get it for cheaper then the last card shown

You got it at the same price, just shipping on that particular card is £0.75 more expensive than you paid. Get yourself 250 posts and you'll get free shipping on all your orders.

I think there's a time limit you need to be registered (something like 3 months?) Also you can't spam either, so double posting when you could have edited your above post or indeed multi quoted :o

i am just curious now, does anyone know why all of a sudden now they have another one in stock when i bought the last card apparently earlier?

also since this is my first time purchasing pc components myself for the first time, and i am going to get the staff at overclockers to build the rig for me does anyone know if they have any proof to show that the card is brand new and not like a second hand card?

OcUK have a reputation to maintain. If they were using 2nd hand cards in customers' builds they would be out of business pretty damn quickly.
I'm fairly sure you get the boxes for the components when you order a build anyway. It's probably worth posting in the Customer Services forum and asking 8Pack or 5UB or one of the other shop guys.

ahh i will, i am just a first time buyer i need to know that my money is going to good hands..i am spending quite a lot of money after all on this rig :) it might of been a dumb question but if they ever did put any second hand PSU or motherboard and it arrived at my door i literally would believe it is a brand new component
