MSI GTX 970 SLI cabling problem

Hey all,

I've just bought a second GTX 970 to set up SLI with. I have my bridge, but i'm having trouble working out what cables I need.

The 970 has a 6-pin and an 8-pin connector. So I obviously need to double up on that.

I currently have a single cable that has a 6-pin and 8-pin on the end plugged into my single 970. This cable came with my PSU, and I only have one.

Do I need to get another one of these cables and plug that into my PSU, or do i need to get multiple splitters and run both cards from a single output on the PSU?

Does my PSU even have 2 PCI-E outputs?

My PSU is a Corsair CX750. I realise it isn't the best, but I don't have the funds for a new one at the moment.

Regards and thanks, Marco

From a quick google the psu isnt modular so no adding of extra cables possible.

You need a new psu really but if you really dont wanna buy one i think the 970 is pretty low power so you could probably use some kind of splitter cable altho i wouldnt recomend it as its not "right" at the end of the day. Might aswell do it properly once

According to newegg's specs listing, you should have two more pcie plugs.
