MSI GTX460 Cyclone 1024MB shader clock question

Just a quick question - I'm looking at the OC version of this card, the 725Mhz one. OcUK list it as having a 1450 MHz shader clock but two other retailers list the same card as 1350 Mhz shaders (again it's definitely the 725Mhz OC version on all three sites).

Anyone got the card from OcUK and can tell me which is correct? MSI don't seem to list the shader clocks on their website.

Thanks a million.

Don't own the card but every review I've seen of a 460 has the shaders at double the GPU core speed.

The GTX460 Cyclone is 675/1350.

The GTX460 Cyclone OC is 725/1450.

Just to confirm, I own two different GTX460 cards (one Inno3d, the other a Sparkle card). In both cases (as is the same for all GTX460's) the shader clock is exactly double the core clock.

IIRC you *can* unlink the 2:1 relationship, however I don't know if this would cause any issues.

Quite right - the relationship on the Fermi cards is 2:1. Unlinking that in MSI Afterburner or via other software tools will simply result in settings that do not hold on the profile.

Thanks guys, I was almost sure the 725MHz version couldn't have a lower shader clock than the vanilla cards, just wanted to be 100% sure.

The MSI looks like a cracking card, I'll be ordering first thing in the morning.
