Hi,

i am looking at buying one of these -

but one chap wrote a review saying "bitstreaming audio not possible" does this mean it will not carry audio on the HDMI?

does not sound right to me, could some one please confirm?

It can carry audio through HDMI but, if that review is correct, it can't bitstream it, which is a particular method of streaming audio.

Nope, it won't be a problem.

However, if you have a particularly pricey surround sound system and want the best possible audio quality then it's worth looking into.
