Hey guys,

I bought my MSI GX660R off OCUK about 2 months ago and I have to say it's an absolutely brilliant machine.

However onto the main issue, ever sinse I got my new laptop out the box whenever ive tried to open up the LED manager it has just failed to load up. The blue loading symbol comes up for about a second then dissipears and nothing else. Now with it being a trivial issue I havnt really took the time to bother sorting it out as I just used the touch button at the top of the keyboard to turn them on and off (albeit no music control).

That is until the other night when the button would just not work despite me restarting my laptop, installing all new drivers, restoring my pc to an earlier date. Absolutely nothing worked. now ive read up that you can turn the LEDs on through the manager so then proceeded to uninstall it and install it again to no avail.

Now I have thought about the possibility of doing a complete install of windows and the MSI drivers again (all came in the box) however its not really an option as i have over 80GB worth of music stored on it and about 400GB of games.

I know its a rather trivial issue but its a rather expensive laptop, well for me anyway and of course i just want everything working nicely. Therefore any help you guys could give me on both the issue of the LED manager not starting up and now the LED's themselves not working would be greatly apreciated?

Cheers. :D

When you go into the system tray, do you have the yellow LED manager icon ?

This does sometime come up with an error for me and it then fine. If you right click that Icon it then has a settings option that allows you to select which LEDS come on.

Sorry if this isn't much help :P
