About 6 months ago i built a cheap system for a friend i used a msi k7n2 delta 2 platinum socket a mobo and other value components from oc.

Well it ran super did everything thrown at it until a week or so ago it lost sound.

after a lot of checking i am begining to think there is a fault with the mobo i am runing the onboard sound and checked it is on in the bios (auto) reinstalled windows latest bios chipset sound drivers etc tryed tested speakers and so on even reinstalled windows

ime at a dead end anyone come across onboard sound problems with this mobo or any ideas

(my next step is to put in a sound card) and see if it works
