Hi :) I've got one of these boards laying about that im building web browser pc for a middle aged family friend from a load of spare parts, however mate of mine now tells me it will only support SATA hard drives under 160GB?

Is he correct or not; as i cant find anything to back this claim up and was going to instal x1 250GB SATA Drive... :confused:
 
Have used one with a large SATA drive, with the latest bios.

I think he is getting confused with pre SP2 XP and it not supporting "big disks". It has nothing to do with the mb.
