Hello. So i have this board MAG Z490 TOMAHAWK. Got it for free.

Im thinking to build Budget Tower with this board. So looking for advice on Most budget Gaming CPU.

Gpu wise im thinking 1070/1080/ or amd 5700. so yes REAL budget PC.

Any advice is welcome. Thank you.

Do you know if the bios is updated to support 11th gen?

You can get a 10400(F) or 11400(F) for around £100-£120, which are still pretty decent for modern games.

Used prices for these CPUs are very up and down, but there are some decent deals about, so 10600K(F), 11600K(F), 10700 non-K are all possibilities for under £150.

I don't know if bios is updated. im thinking 10400 or 11400 would be best choice. realy want integrated gpu for those days when gpu packs up. u can still browse and watch utube if that happens.

The only thing I'd be weary of is that the 10400 has a 'low' all-core clock speed, which given the architecture deficit to 12th/13th gen, might hamper it more quickly (in the next few years) than e.g. the 11400, which can be 'overclocked' by raising the power limits and using gear 1. A 10600K or 11600K would help with this potential problem, but I wouldn't pay £200 for a brand new one. I guess what I'm saying is, if the 10400 was £100, a 10500 £115, or a 10600 £130, I'd take the 10500 or 10600, just to have that little bit extra boost clock.
