Hi all,
I got this monitor due to very good reviews, it has the latest firmware etc. It's connected to my nVidia 1660ti right now with a mini displayport. Whilst it's not officially supported for G-Sync is does recognise it but I don't turn it on or use it.
Questions
1) I've set the monitors "Response time" to the "Fast" setting and at 144Hz refresh. I notice just browsing websites, especially dark themed ones, whenever I scroll the text becomes unreadable until I stop. I know that sounds normal, but my previous monitor never did this and it was a basic IPS monitor, 5ms and 60Hz. Any solution? Fastest setting lessens it but it's still there.
2) When I did try out the g-sync, it was horrible in games, it was like a trippy ghost effect whenever I move the camera in game around or a character moves. If I got say a new AMD 6800 that supports freesync and this monitor, would that effect be eliminated?
