Completing a new build. On start-up I get this message.

"Power down and connect the Pcie power cable

The MB is paused at A9.

The Pci-e cable is connected. (Would not see the message otherwise.)

Using....
PSU. Evga 850 Supernova G2 using 8pin + 6pin
GPU. Palit GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER GP 8192MB GDDR6 PCI-Express Graphics Card

I should add W10 is not installed yet. I don't get that far before this error.
I can get into the bios and play with the settings, the problem occurs when trying to install W10

The only thing I can think of is the card is not getting enough power. I have 1 cable connected which has 1 "8 pin" connected to the PSU on one end and on the other end it has a "8pin + 6pin" connected to the card.

Has anyone had this problem before.

So to be clear:
You have 1 cable going from the PSU to the GPU, which has 2 power connectors? So a sort of daisy-chain?

If so, you should try with 2 separate cables from the PSU, I think.
