MSI MEG Z490 Unify with 2 CPU 8pins. Do I need both?

OK Just received a new MSI MEG Z490 Unify from OCUK.

My old 850 PSU only has one 8pin cable. Do I need to have both 8pin cables connected to run the processor?

The 2nd 8 pin socket will be for extreme cooling. You'll be fine with just the one 8 pin cable.
