Hi,
motherboard: MSI p35 platinum (MS 7345)
I'm having a strange problem with my onboard RAID when upgrading my graphics card.
Basically I have a RAID0 setup over 3 disks (I know risky but full image backup is done and its just a gaming rig), all is fine running with an old PCIe Nvidia 7300SE (I know I just built the system with this until I could get my new card).
I can see the RAID BIOS load, change settings etc and the OS loads properly.
When I take out the old card and replace with an ATI HD4870 the RAID BIOS fails to load at all, I no longer see the 'press CTRL + A to enter RAID setup and the OS fails to load, the BIOS is still set to use RAID but it doesnt load.
I thought this maybe a PSU issue and have just replaced with a 700W OCZ PSU but the issue remains.
Does this motherboard not support high end graphics card AND RAID at the same time?
