I cannot quite solve this one... REally piddled off with myself as to why, but...
Im upgrading my LAN PCs and this one in particular...
MSI NEO 2 Platinum
Manchester 3800
XFX 6600 GT ( 128MB AGP )
2x512MB Corsair Platinum
SBLive!
Now, this machine has been running perfectly well and its been a solid runner, but its being put out to pasture now, and Im giving it to me mum.
So, I put on a fresh install, and set about reinstalling it, and I have come upon a small and irritating issue that I am buggered, btu I cannot fix it...
Basically, its as simple as this...
As soon as I install the graphic drivers... I get a black screen... If I try older drivers, the card is not setup and it gets to the desktop fine, but deadly slow at updating the display...
Similarly, with the Mobo Drivers... If I use drivers that are too old or too new, then it keeps restarting?
I think that it may require a combination of driver versions for the Chipset and the GFX but Im at a loss???
Does anyone have the same Mobo / GFXCombination, and if so, what version of drivers are you running???
Many thanks in advance
