MSI Nightblade PSU

Hi I have an MSI Nightblade MI ITX PC.
https://uk.msi.com/Desktop/Nightblade-MI

I'm looking at moving the internals into a new case, as I have no room to upgrade.
However, the PSU is a completely non standard shape.
(P/N - 9pa350c100) (MSI P/N - s93-0909350-s14)

There is an image of the PSU here - http://citosoft.com/prshop16/en/netzteile/219-netzteil-fuer-msi-nighbtlade-x2.html

I would either like to know:
A case that would fit this PSU
An adapter that would allow the PSU to fit a standard case
Or if I can use a standard PSU with my Motherboard without frying it!

Any help and advice will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Can you post a picture of the motherboard, specifically the points where the PSU connects to it? On a standard motherboard there would be a 24+pin connection (12 wide, 2 tall) and either a 4 or 8 pin one.

He can't unless he takes most of it apart because it's really tight in that case. I have found a couple of pictures of the internals with the gpu removed here and here. In the first picture it has what I first thought was a 8 pin cable but on looking again looks to be 10 pins. It would seem that the board is custom for this pc so if that is a 10 pin connector it has non-standard connections. You can see in the second picture that the USB 3.0 connector and sata connectors are were the 24 pin would normally go so I can't tell where the rest of the connectors are unless they are on the rear of the board? The psu is only 350w so gpu wise you would have to stick to the lower powered gpu's.

If what I suspect is true and it does have non-standard connectors you cannot use your motherboard with anything but the psu it comes with. After a lot of searching your psu is of the Flex ATX standard and measures 150 x 81.5 x 40.5mm.

Hi, Yes the above is all about correct, I was just about to attach images to show the 10 pin connector, there is also a seperate 4 pin connector. toward the top right of the board.
I guess my final question then is, is there a case that can take this psu/board combo that has a bit more room in it than what you get in this case.
Im currently running a GTX1060 but now have no room for anything else whatsoever (wouldnt mind a soundblaster card in there as well as a bit of airspace!)

Thanks for the replies so far...

24-pin to 10-pin adapters so exist, for proprietary setups like Lenovo. You could quote possibly get one and rearrange the pins in the plug if you were confident to measure the original plug for the right pinout.

I would be happy doing it but I appreciate not everyone is so happy fiddling with mixed voltages. It could open up a decent project for you. But is it better than just selling up and buying the parts you want?

I spent about 2 years upgrading from Shuttle, to SFF HP, to small cases to proper ATX. I realised anything else makes you compromise on noise, heat, price due to rarity of parts etc. Lesson learned.

Yeah that could be a solution but I wouldn't be happy carrying out such an upgrade. I'm ok with components etc but anything else is beyond me!
I only ended up with this system as part of a deal I did a few years back but I've updated it as far as it can go without having it all lying all over desk in bits!

I may also look at taking the bits I need from it and building it up as a bare bones system to sell on to someone so I can fund the upgrade.

The simplest option is a new Mobo and new PSU.

Custom cables is absolutely doable, and not that difficult, but if you’re not confident I wouldn’t recommend it.

Yeah, new board and psu, possibly with a cheeky cpu upgrade while I’m at it, then sell the rest as a bare bones system.
Thanks all for your advice.
