MSI OC Genie problems

I'm putting together a small bedroom system for one of my kids:

Intel Pentium G3258
MSI H81M-P33 Motherboard
8mb Corsair Vengeance LP
Asus 7770HD 4GB gfx

I've been trying to overclock the chip using the boards OC Genie, but have been having issues.

On my main system I have an MSI SLI Z97S Krait mobo. With that it was a simple case of going into the BIOS, clicking the OC button, then rebooting.

When I do the same on the H81M, nothing. It doesn't change any settings at all.

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong.

Any help would be appreciated greatly.

Do you have the latest Bios for the motherboard ?

When I go into the Bios, (I have switched off OC Genie) the CPU Ratio menu it says 'Auto' and it won't allow me to change it from that. The chip is an unlocked, so i'm a little confused.

Use the (+ / -) keys on your keyboard to change it from Auto?

Why use OC genie?? Save the hassle and do it yourself.
