Hi

Was thinking to push my new card a little as i havent really tried overclocking my card before.

Couple of queries.

My card runs at 7000mhz Memory speed but dont really see it on gpuz or MSI Afterburner. Can someone explain where this value is or is a multplied from somwhere?

On MSI Afterburner I can see core clock speed but dont see where the Boost speed is? I am not going to push the volts at all so just running whatever is stable at default volts.

Maybe a good guide for a newbie like me would be ideal.

Cheers
Kyo

Memory speed is 1750mhz ( as shown in MSI afterburner ) thats 7000mhz divided by 4

Your cards specs are :

941 MHz (base) 1006 MHz (boost)

Overclocking by 50mhz on the core should give you :

991 MHz (base) 1056 MHz (boost) roughly

Thanks that makes sense for the core clocks. Back to the memory why would u devide by 4? Also 7200mhz = 1800 on msi right?
