MSI P4N Diamond nForce4 SLi Problem

Hi there..

I am having a complete nightmare with this board and could really do with some advice..

I bought all my components from OcUK and put then all together today. But when i power up the system i dont get any video out at all.. I have used two different monitors and two different Graphics cards (one ati the other Nvidia) The diagnostic lights are on 2 and 3 (which means it is showing the bios and manufacture logo)

Have i missed something very obvious or is there an underlying problem with the board itself??

can someone help me please..

try reseating the gcard a couple of times. Might just not be making a good connection (i had this once a long time ago though)

i have reset both cards multiple times and even used the secondery slot with no joy.

When you refer to the diagnostic LED's, do you mean on the D-Bracket? If so, there should be a corresponding code in the manual telling you what the problem is.

yes i am refering top that braket and the lights alight are 2 and 3 which is bios showing info and boot data but i cant see the data on screen as i cant seem to get the video to post.

Do you get anything at all even when you first boot??

I have fixed the problem.. the board does not take Dual core chips with the bios that was on the board so i had to take apart my old comp with a p4 chip in it. Boot the new one and flash the bios and then replace the dual core chip.. all seams to be working now..
