Hi

I am in the process of building a PC for someone and I bought a second hand mobo as set put in the title along with a i5 2500k.

When I set it all up the fans turn on as do the lights but no display is outputted. I have tried two different psu's both work on other systems. 4 different sticks of ram, again all of which work on other PC's. 2 different gfx cards (290x and 7970) and two different monitors. Now I have tried the i5 in two other motherboards a z77 and z68 without issue. The p67 makes no noise and won't get to bios, is it possible this is a gfx card compatibility issue requiring bios update...which I can't do without display, or is it simply a broken mobo?

I had a MSI P67A-GD53 that liked to boot loop a lot, it ended up dying grafually, ram would not work in dual channel, i could only have the ram in 1 slot, moved to a EVGA Z68 SLi and my issues vanished.

I had GTX 480 SLi and a 2500k BTW.

Yeah as I have only been trying to get it working I have tried every configuration of ram I could manage without joy. And no bios beeps to give me any hint as to what's wrong, which makes me wonder if its just the mobo
