I have an MSI P67-GD65 that I bought in jan 11 and was replaced after the sandybridge fiasco by MSI in jun 11.
It seems now that the marvell sata controller on the board is dead it fails to recognise anything hard drive or dvd-rom.
I noticed that the warranty on these is 3 years limited and I was wondering what a "limited" warranty covers.
The board has never been overclocked and works ok except the IO on the other Intel SATA ports does seem a bit slow.
I was wondering whether its covered under the warranty and whether it is worth returning it as I was told there may be a cost attached as its over 2 years old.
Not an expert on warranties and the differences in what they cover between manufacturers so any advice appreciated.
