Hi, I've got my i5 at 4.6. Its perfectly stable in windows, but everytime I turn the computer on it restarts after a couple seconds, then turns on properly. It also doesn't like restarting, sometimes does it no problem, sometimes takes ages, sometimes won't do it at all. Any ideas as to whats wrong? TIA

I've got the same gear as you and I also get that mini restart thing after pressing the power button but after that it zips along happily. Mine's at 4.5 though. It's unstable at 4.6 and I can't be bothered upping the volts more to make it stable.

Mine was fine too once booted. However after 4 days and many hours of prime running happily at 4.6 its just bluescreened three times in 20 minutes, even with another 0.05 volts added on (although wierdly cpu-z was giving the same reading as before ). Anyway put it down to 4.5 while I try to figure out just what's wrong....

Common problem on P67 boards, only happens on cold boots too with an overclock.

Ive put it down to the PSU having to juice up the system, take a break then run at it full pelt.
(This isnt the reason, but I like my explanation :))
