hi guys

really need some help here.

1 problem, i cannot seam to access the BIOS.

Everytime i boot and press DEL key, i get the MSI Millitary Class II logo come up, then it freezes on that, with "A9" on the bottom right of the screen.
It will stay stuck like this until the computer is restarted.

I cannot for the life of me get into BIOS.

I have even tried using different ram sticks in each DIMM slot, incase its a ram issue or something, and nope.

Ive also tried clearing CMOS, by removing battery, i left it for 30 minutes, moved the jumpers to clear cmos position, and pressed the clear cmos button on the rear of my motherboard.

When i then reboot, it asks me to press either F1 to enter setup, or F2 to load default settings.
F2 does what it says, but F1 to enter bios, still presents me with the same issues....

Also, another problem.
I tried installing windows xp x64 onto usb drive. As i know Windows vista dna windows 7 do not allow you to install through IEEE ports. and XP does.

So, i entered setup, ladada, all good, it installed windows boot files, then when it restarted to continue installation, i get to the splash screen of XP, so i know its installing fine, then i always get a BSOD, saying something about checking hard drive for viruses etc....

Its really annoying me now.

Any ideas?

thanks

Does anybody have any ideas on this, I'm suffering the same problem with a motherboard that's just come back after an RMA.
