Hey,
I've had this computer since october and it's been nothing but problems I rma'd an r9 270 x as it was broken got another one it won't display so I left it for months and thought i give up. I've recently tried again and managed to get it to display yesterday I was even playing games on it ets 2 max 60 fps so I doubt it 's a card problem as in faulty. To get it to work I had to use display driver uninstaller, went to device manager and updated the standard vga driver with the amd folder and it worked, got home from work and yeah it won't display again!.
I'm trying to connect it to a 19 lcd tv via hdmi I don't know if it's windows 7 or my resolution on my tv not allowing it to display or something. Anyway What I've tried:
Wiping amd drivers via display driver uninstaller.
Reseating the card
Changing the graphic configuration in the bios to pci, now here is something that's weird if i choose pcie or pci it just reverts back to auto on it's own and won't save for some reason I've tried updating the bios but it still does the same.
To get it to display I'm currently using vga from tv to the motherboard and it will work but if you plug the card in via it's power connector it won't display at all.
When I switch to hdmi the asus screen pops up asking f2, del to enter bios but after that it just goes black and won't display any output. I wrote this quite quick but I'll answer in more detail if you ask me I'm just annoyed at this point and I'm out of options I also can't test it in another machine because I don't own one

Update: I've installed windows 8.1 now aswell, I don't know how that would change the problem but still nothing.
Cheers, Jack

what display inputs does the tv have? I have an older lg tv thats iffy with hdmi but fine if I use a vga/d-sub cable. Could also try different cables and monitors.

Just tried it on the main 42 inch Samsung we have and it displays instantly with no issues, must be my tv hasn't got the resolution to display it
