Hello All,

Iv just upgraded to an Intel i7-4770k + Z97 motherboard (MSI Gaming 5), however when switching on the "Windows 8/8.1 Features" in the BIOS i cannot boot, getting an UEFI GOP error message.

If i have this disabled windows boots fine (but with a watermark on desktop "SecureBoot isn't configured correctly"

Anyone have any ideas on how to rectify this ?

p.s. i have tried both firmwares on the R9 290 card via the switch with the same results.

You need to go to the MSI user to user forums and request a UEFI BIOS for the card after giving them a saved binary of your current BIOS.

Its a new card so they should be able to provide one, but if they cant there is a windows patch that will remove the watermark.
