Just installed one of these, so far only enabled expo-1 for memory and X3d for gaming, should I leave PBO on auto? Any other settings I need to change?

My old Gigabyte X570 used to run a balance test for fans then auto adjust the fan curve, on the MSI i’ve tried adjusting them but it still seems quite loud. I have the case fans on a fan controller and then connected to a fan header on the mobo and the CPU fans connected directly to the CPU fan header.

You can get better performance with a manual OC but in my experience, PBO gets you very close to the manual OC with far less effort so just stick with that.

Do a BIOS update if you haven’t already.

No idea about the fan settings. I just get a good static pressure fan and set it to low for any of my systems.

Apart from setting a fan curve that reacts to the cpu or system temperature, is there any way to set the fans to auto so they increase rpm to cpu load?

my old gigabyte x570 used to be nice and silent and then ramp up the fan rpm when i launched a game
