MSI Warranty

Hi guys,

QQ - I can see MSI GPU's come with a 3 year warranty... I have not bought an MSI card for a good while - have some motherboards but never had an issue, its normally GPU's where I rarely have to do something..

So - has anyone experience of MSI RMA with OCUK? Is it pretty good? This is my only real hesitation holding me back from a purchase so peoples experiences would be good to know..

I RMA'd my mobo this summer. It was a 1 and a bit year old Z77 Mpower so very EOL and was also very dead.

I sent the mobo to OcUK who then forwarded it on to MSI.

Then things went quiet for about 3 weeks when I asked for the status of the RMA. OcUK asked MSI what was going on and there was a sudden flurry of activity and I got my replacement board within a couple of days.

Replacement board was obviously not new but the condition is fine and it works.

If I was to RMA something with MSI again I would ask for status updates every few days to keep everyone on their toes.

Good to know, so after 1 year OCUK still handled the RMA for you.... That would be my preference...

Yes, pretty much did everything for me. I may have even gotten haribo with the returned board.

Once I had to RMA a MSI HD 7950 after 1 year of use to ocuk, took 21 days to receive a replacement.

RMA'd my MSI 780 via OCUK (was about 10 months old). Had my replacement within 3 days.

I sent my 6 month old 280X away because the fans were leaking oil it took around 4 weeks and Overclockers dealt with the whole thing.
