I've been looking for a Netbook which I'll use when I'm round friends, the parents or work breaks. Will be mainly used for web browsing obviously but also playing back movies on a HD TV and occasional gaming. Not looking at spending much more than 400 quid.

Battery isn't as much of a concern as fitting within the 12” range and having the oompf that the atom or even the duel core version won't offer. I was tempted by the Acer Ferrari One as it's out now with an AMD mobile duel core CPU. Whilst its not as fast as an Intel duel core, it has much better graphics capabilities.

However, now I've heard of this new MSI coming early in the new year. Same AMD/ATI 'Congo' platform as the Ferrari but it has a more powerful CPU running at 1.6.GHz over the ferrari's 1.3 as well as also having a proper HDTV connection and doesn't have the horrible styling.

Coupled with a full keyboard and the ATI HD3200 graphics chip I reckon this would be the smart buy over say a duel core ATOM and ION setup?
