Has anyone heard any whispers as to when this motherboard will reach our shores?
The x48 Platinum seems to be due at the end of the month, but right now, I'm holding out for the "C" version (takes both DDR2 and DDR3).
This new system will hopefully be still be in use in four years time, hence my temptation to go down the combo path (2 years or so for me, then passed on as a Sims 5435 machine later on for my better half).
Its a shame Gigabyte don't appear to do a combo board, as "DES" does seem like a great technology in conserving power when it is not needed, apparently working better than Asus' equivalent.
