The memory compatibility is really determined by your individual CPU - since the memory controller is on that instead of the motherboard. Most likely, with all 6 slots filled then you will have to scale back the memory speed to 1400MHz or less to maintain system stability (you will need to do a bit of trial and error to determine the maximum stable frequency) - but in terms of real-world performance this will have a pretty insignificant effect compared to memory running at 1600MHz.

Also, you may want to go for two 12GB kits of the same type instead of the big 24GB kit as it is much cheaper per GB.
 
What Operating System are you running?

Only the Professional and higher versions of Windows Vista 64 bit and Windows 7 64 bit can use more than 16GB.
