Msi x870e tomahawk m.2_4 not detecting

Just got a mai x870e tomahawk and 9950x3d. Just doing the windows and software install and its not detecting the 4tb crucial m.2 is slot 4.

I have a 2tb version of the same drive in slot 1 and thats working fine windows installed and everything.

Updated bios to latest still nothing.

Its just not detecting in the bios at all.

Reseated it and still nothing showing.

Any ideas?

Reflash bios or go back to a different version to see if it shows up.

managed to fix it.

took it out and there was a small brown flake of something in the M.2 slot.

All working now.
