Maybe tempted with one of the MSI '*Power' boards, question is will their Z170's have the ability to use Vcore voltage offsets? None of the previous chipsets have it within the Bios.

Biostar, ASRock, Gigabyte, Asus motherboards can do it, it's kinda annoying.

The thing is their X58 chipset motherboards had the ability use offset.

Vdroop offset is alright but I'm still overvolting, you can't fine tweak it like voltage offset, just a percentage of the VID at whatever overclock your using 12.5%, 25%, 37.5%, 50% etc.

I could use manual vcore setting, which then will cause the voltage to be stuck 24/7 on the higher voltage, even if C1E, EIST etc are used.

This is going to sound really shallow but I hope someone makes a yellow themed z170 board. Howeve4 it'll be better on the wallet if they don't.

Well it wasn't until i read it and it said white pcb and I was like wtf ! But I really hope it is gray/silver like the asus rog appears to be.

The Krait would have looked amazing if the bottom PCI slot was white!

I think that's ruined that board a little in my opinion, but I am pedantic. I think the X99 Krait looks spectacular though.

If I end up going Z170 over X99, that's going to be my board of choice, for definite.
