Hey all,

Just set my new rig up and it's running rather nicely! However if I boot up holding down DEL to enter the BIOS as usual, it states that it is loading, and then seems to freeze on a black screen with a cursor at the top, then B2 in the bottom right hand corner.

I can access all of the BIOS settings fine through the CLICKBIOSII software but not in the conventional way.

I flashed from N1 to N3 to see if this would help but it didn't seem to. Anyone else come across this before, or could offer assistance?

Never done much with BIOS before so I'd prefer to get some seasoned and experienced assistance before I try to do anything silly.

If you need more info let me know.

Cheers!

Dave.:)

I am mate yeah, the Logitech Illuminated. Is that where I'm going wrong? As long as it isn't something that is going to break..I guess that's the reason for the software method as well?

yeh i had to change keyboard to get into bios quite a few people have had the same problem same as asrock boards i believe

Did you do it with a different keyboard or would a USB > PS/2 adapter work?

I'm so glad I can get a decent answer on here.. I searched all over other forums and all I seemed to get from people was "flash the BIOS" etc...

Cheers for the quick reply Alex =]

i had that problem and it turned out it was because of a useless old printer that i had plugged into it

bought a new printer, gave the old one to a charity shop, no BIOS issues :)

I thought that initially as well and attempted to remove devices, but all I've had plugged in is my keyboard, mouse and wireless adapter. tried removing 2 out of the 3 so I could still hit DEL but didn't help. Very odd indeed.

I have an nightmare getting into the bios on my Gigabyte MATX mobo (wireless keyboard)

you have to press"del" just at right time-even then only about 1 in 5 chance of getting into bios - often give up and go and get a wired keyboard ...

Oddly I find it comforting there are a good few people having this issue...just so that I know that it's the way it functions rather than an error... I've got some serious BF3 time to log today, last thing I want to do is have to take my new baby to pieces!
