MSI Z77-GD65 keyboard wont work in bios lucid virtu MPV

Maybe im missing something but i can't get my Qpad 85 keyboard to work in the bios, all the back lit keys are illuminating ok but no keys work. once booted in win7 it works without any problems. So i tried an old membrane and that works ok. There also seems to be a problem with Lucid Virtu MVP installed it from the CD and it gives me the full licensed version, it nags to update. once updated to the latest version you loose your license and your on a 30 day trail. Anyone having the same problems? Is the MSI rep still hanging around the forums. I did a quick check on the official msi forums and the first post are complaining of keyboard and lucid virtu problems.
Keyboard works fine on my z68 rigs Bios.

I have a Z77A-G45 , bios 2.3 and an MK-85 - exact same problem. Luckily i have a spare keyboard i can plugin to use the bios but it's bit of a strange one seeing as it lights up and everything.

Going to try putting the latest 2.4 bios on but I doubt that's going to help as the release info just says it fixes
- Update memory module.
- Enhance OC performance

I also have this problem but with the z77x-ud3h. My g15 is pot luck if I can get into the bios or not, all the correct drivers are installed, i'm on the latest version of the bios and neither the usb2 or 3 ports will let me access any of the post options most of the time.
