I've just built a new mini-itx rig with a z87i in and I'm having a strange problem when setting the OC settings through the BIOS. Currently running a 4670K, I go into the BIOS and change the multiplier / vcore to 42, and 1.25V, F10 out and hit yes to save, but when the board starts up again, the settings aren't applied. They're saved as I can see them still showing up in the OC BIOS section, but the multi is still at 34 and the CPU is running at stock. If I boot into Windows and use the command center to change the settings, the OC works fine and I can stress test / game all I want without any errors, it's just the BIOS config that won't apply which is quite annoying. I've flashed the board to the latest BIOS.

Any ideas, or anyone had anything similar?

Aha, cracked it. A normal reflash didn't work, the ME section of the BIOS was corrupt. Had to do a full erase/reflash using the version of FPT that's on the MSI forums. All good now!
