MSI Z890 LED Connection Problems?

I have a new MSI Z890 Intel Tomahawk Motherboard and would like to add some LED’s. I have purchased a set of Phantek LEDs to match the case I bought and they don’t seem to work. I have tried board connections JRGB1, JARGB_V2_1 and JARGB_V2_2 with no luck at all. I did see a faint red light on the LED strip at 1 point but nothing other than that. I have tried MSI support but can't get beyond registration and the page errors.

Can anyone tell me what I may be doing wrong please?

Thanks Tetras. This is the kit I am using, it looks like the LEDs are not compatible with the case?

According to the description of the kit, you can either connect it to a compatible Phanteks case, OR a compatible motherboard, so I don't think you need a compatible case.

In answer to your question: I can't see any mention of that. From what I can gather, your case includes 4x DRGB fans and this is not part of an expandable hub?
