Hi all,now im no newb but no expert i have built around 30 systems though. My latest build is aroubd a msi z97 G55 sli motherboard, an i5 cpu, 2 x sticks 4gig crucial ballistix sport memory, a Zotac amp gtx 980, a 240gb pny ssd drive and a wd caviar blue 1tb drive, 1000w Zalman psu.
This is all fitted into an nzxt ht440 case, it was all running great but boot times were a little long and sometimes the ssd containing operating system was not being detected, minor niggles so i thought id do a bios update to solve them.
So i have got the correct updated bios and gone into bios setting and updated from usb flash drive using mflash, it all went perfectly but upon rebooting my pc is now stuck in a cycle of powering up for 2 seconds then losing power then powering up and losing power in a loop, so i can not get into the bios any longer.
I have tried clearing cmos by removing battery and also by shorting the pins on the jbat as instructed in mobo manual all to no avail, ive tried this with all components disconnected as well still no joy. I really dont know what to do next but reading around a few people have had this issue with msi bios unfortunately ive seen no solution, im so hassled help

Try with nothing connected to PC but one stick of ram using onboard graphics. I had similar with ES board. This helped me to post.

Seen this a few times, the crappy msi flash utility seems to have bricked your board.

Well i have given up on this, just got an Asus maximus board and will be returning the msi board for a refund, i wish i could sue msi for wasting my bloody time.
