Hi,

Recently, over the last couple of days, whenever I sign into msn I have 10-20 requests to join contact lists from different people that I don't know and when I click block it says "<address> could not be blocked. Please try again later."

Now I have to click through like 15 windows to try and get round this which is getting very annoying. I'm not sure what the cause is.

The other day when I signed into msn my account was 'locked' because someone had apparently tried to guess my password too many times. I have a @hotmail.co.uk with my first name so I normally get some people randomly adding me but it has never been this bad.

Anyone got any ideas to try and resolve this?

Cheers,

Solved problem, was a full block list. Deleted some people from my block list and i could block again. Also found out that you can't delete people from your block list that haven't deleted from their contact list (cheers Microsoft)

So problem resolved for now, until my block list fills up with a load of people that don't delete me from their contact list.

No it is random people, usually 12/13/14 year olds that assume that their mate has [email protected] and talking to them is normally pointless (always ask me what my second name is to verify me or something and usually have no answer to the simple question - why have you added me?) so I block them straight away. It is just something I get because of my address, my mate has a firstname address @hotmail.co.uk and also gets this.

Just gets annoying sometimes.

EDIT: Obviously I accept people I know or if someone says I added you but I think you blocked me! :p
