Any ideas why? I have some port forwarded to my PC that has "msn messenger" on the note - can't remember which one it is, but I must've set it up for some reason.

Any other ports/ranges should be forwarded? It truely does suck donkey pole. Like 1k/ 3s.

Only way to get decent transfer speeds with msn is to enable UPnP on your computer.

No it's not.

Setting and configuring the ports that MSN uses will surfice.

FTP will be quicker also the other quick option is ICQ.

Enabling uPNP is the easiest way to enable faster transfer but the other person will also need to have uPNP enabled on there router as well.

I would say FTP is by far the easiest just bung the file on web space and then MSN or email the link so the other person just downloads it without needing the username etc to the web space
