Would anyone mind helping me clock my new system, over msn messenger? I'm looking to get around 3.0ghz. I've overclocked before with my old opteron 148 though it would be reassuring to have someone to talk to guide me though the different steps

Thanks in advance, graeme

I had read the guide already, and have done OC in the past, i was just after someone with a bit more experience to talk to while i was doing it.

Do these look ok? Would be nice to know if there is anything i have done wrong before i run prime

I am not sure why speedfan is showing a system temp of 54oC, ive had a feel inside the case and everything is lovely and cool

Thanks

I did one prime test and core 1 and 4 failed after about 3 minutes with the error

"FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4

I bumped the volts up a few notches and ran again. The results after 5 minutes are what i have print screened. Any idea's what's up?

Thanks for the reply

Just ran prime again with' Round Off Checking' turned on, thread#2 failed after 4 minutes, same error as before - "FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4

RAM timings changed to " 4-4-4-15 1T " as suggested by Greebo in another post, hopefully this will sort it out

Failed again, volts raised to 1.36 as suggested below, cheers
