Title says it all basically, in the middle of conversations the program will just stop responding for a minute or two, and will then resume back to it's original state. It doesn't show as non responsive in task manager.

On Win7 x64 Pro

Any ideas?

Thanks for the replies, I'll check microsoft process monitor and also update flash.

Will post back shortly

Have you tried reinstalling MSN? Process Monitor is good but it's a bit hard to use if you don't know what you're looking for. Does the whole system freeze up or just MSN windows? You could look in the event viewer as well to see if anything is showing up that coincides with the freezes.

I get this as well, very annoying. It's only happened recently.

It's just MSN that freezes, nothing else. Contact list + any conversations you have open.

Windows 7 Ultimate (64bit) here.

Funny, same problem here. I thought it was because I had changed my power management settings or installed a new (old) screensaver - fliqlo. I'll try updating flash too...

Nothing on event viewer, just MSN freezes. I've been looking around and have heard ACPI may be interfering with the program, however if I disable that in BIOS im unable to boot into OS :S
