msn messenger?

Is any body, or has anybody, had any problems running msn messenger on windows 64

with an E6400 cpu

Its a new instal and a legitamate win 64

trying to run msn live and i get

error code 80048820
extened error code 80048412

trouble shoot doesent help, but if i plug my old system in it works fine
