Trying to fix a friends laptop here, to no luck.
He says he started MSN up, which came up with an error to do with riched20.dll, he uninstalled (windows live messenger) and tried to reinstall it, now when installing it gives the error 2894, followed by 1603 (fatal error).
This is the same when trying to install microsoft word, and windows update isn't working, or trying to install the internet explorer 7.
Anyone had this problem? any fix?
