Since uninstalling AOL a couple of weeks ago, the 'rumble' noise in MSN messenger no longer works :(

It's not a big deal as the screen still vibrates but I would like to get the sound back as sometimes I don't realise that I've been nudged by my contacts as I can't hear anything!

Does anyone please know if anything can be done?
I have uninstalled MSN and then reinstalled it after a reboot but this doesn't fix the problem.

I do have backups but as I was using AOL for over 5 years, I don't have any backups that would help me out here.

Still enabled in the options as you can disable the sounds like I have...or try seeing if theres an option in the sound section under control panel.

I have these settings which are default I assume (I haven't changed them):

Looking under XP's sound options, I can see the nudge reference but I don't know what to do as all the other MSN options have <none> selected and yet they all work

I know that it was AOL's uninstallation that messed some sound scheme up in Windows as it was only after I uninstalled AOL that I had this problem.
