MSN on iChat?

Not tried personally, is there something about adium you dont like? Personally whenever I have to use another msn client I find it pretty naff compared to adium 
On my uni's wireless network though, msn works but adium doesnt.. Totally off topic but odd so i mentioned it

I would most likely say never.
Apple is a very US-centric company and so they'll support what everyone in the US uses - AIM!
Besides, they use the AIM network for the MobileMe/.Mac accounts in iChat anyway and obviously Microsoft would tell them where to get off if they wanted to use the MSN network like that
Strangely with the latest Microsoft Messenger release whenever I login I get notifications that everyone else who was online at the time has just logged in...very annoying!

I loved adium, and then got used to the simplicity of msn messenger for mac over summer, until coming back to uni and that just refuses to work even with the correct proxy settings. Strange!
I might give the iChat addon a try, see what that's like. I've got skype for video calls (hopefully that'll work on the network still).
