MSN signs out at 1 o'clock every night ?

Ever night my MSN messenger signs its self out at 1 o'clock AM, any Idea's why it does this, Running OS X Leopard. :confused:

I use to get that, it's stopped recently. Do you happen to be running Windows Live Messenger 9 Beta? If not then it must be them reseting the service but I know it doesn't happen to everyone. :confused:

Its Version 7.0.1 if that help. Its happened every day since I installed it a couple of months ago. :confused:

I used to have a very similar issue with Live Messenger on my PC. Turned out to be my router firmware believe it or not. The router was disconnecting at midnight on the dot, just very briefly before reconnecting again, and only Messenger noticed.

I used to get the same thing when my ISP switched over from capped to unlimited access from midnight to 8am.

It's a Netgear router issue, can sometimes fix it by changing the timezone.

Yeh its a Netgear, looking in the settings and its set to UK time zone. :confused:

Never did it when I got the latest firmware for my DG834G, but that introduced the problem of not being able to sign into MSN natively, only through the HTTP option. Rolled back, as messages repeatedly not getting through was more annoying than being signed out once a day...

Which ISP you with. I think AOL knocks people off a certain times to try and interupt the downloaders.
