MSN trouble sending messages

Hello, recently I keep getting the problem of not being able to send / recieve messages using Windows Live Messenger. Contacts are sending me messages which aren't coming through and all messages which I send I am being told about 5minutes later that they have not been sent.

I also tried using Windows Messenger but this did not solve the problem.

Any help appreciately, cheers.
 
Happening to me and a few others at the moment. Occasionally it'll be ok but it's very patchy.

Just one of those things where you can only sit back and wait for them to fix it :(
